About Moi November 16, 2011

Welcome to my blog, and my take on things. I pride myself on viewing the world from a perspective that’s filtered through my many experiences. I’m a Colorado native, a world traveler, an appreciator of the outdoors, a suicide survivor, a hasbian copyright mark (my term for a former lesbian), a mother after a long struggle with infertility, a recovering class mom, an ebay addict, a university professor, a skier, a cat owner and a horrible cook–and these are things people learn about me before they know my middle name (it’s Lynn btw).
While our life experiences most likely aren’t the same, I hope you will find bits of your own truth in my writing.
So welcome, I hope to hear how you see it, Chryss

  1. Hello: I would like to invite you to experience the fall colors with a birds eye view. The Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad crosses over our spectacular 2000 acre property just north of Leadville, and some of our lucky zip liners will see the train, hear the train, and a few lucky folks may fly over the train. We are Top of the Rockies Zip Line, just 14 miles south of Copper Mountain and 6 miles North of Leadville, We have five separate zip line platforms, all with dual lines so people can ride side by side. We are the newest, the highest (our first platform is at 11,000 feet), and the closest zip line to Breck, Copper, Vail, Frisco and only one and half hours from the metro Denver Area. We are White Mountain Snowmobile Tours in winter, operating tours for more than 22 years under the same local ownership, and this winter we are gonna be zipping and riding snowmobiles and having a great time. This is your special invitation to come on out, bring a friend or family member, see the fall colors, and see what we offer. See our website at topoftherockieszipline.com, our FaceBook page, Top of the Rockies Zip Line, our guest comments, photos and video and call me. I am Judith Gilman, General Manager for Top of the Rockies Zipline and White Mountain Snowmobile Tours. We opened in July, having started construction after we closed snowmobile operations in April. Not everyone knows about us yet, so we are anxious to show off what we have. I’m a great grandmother, an author, ex Caribbean charterboat owner and Captain , GM for White Mountain and Top of the Rockies, and proud of our owner, our staff, our guides (all certified in July) and our course, anxious to let everyone know we exist. So if you get a chance to take a look at our sites and give me a call, I would be honored to schedule you for a flight that will thrill you, excite you, and make you glad I found you. Hi Judi,

I’m so sorry for not getting back to you earlier; your e-mail somehow got lost in the shuffle. I didn’t make it this season, but maybe next! Enjoy the snow (I hope we have LOTS of it! Best, Chryss
